
Jutikaa Mahanta – the changemaker from Assam is Honoured with the ‘Pride of Nation Award 2025’

It was a proud and heartwarming moment when Jutikaa Mahanta, representing Assam and the North East, was honoured with the ‘Pride of Nation Award 2025’ in New Delhi from the Rastriya Nari Sashaktikaran Sangh (RNSS) at a grand ceremony held at MP Bhavan, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.
The award was presented by Hon’ble Member of Parliament Dr. Lata Wankhede ji, in the presence of eminent dignitaries including IAS Shri Kapil Meena ji and IRS Richa Saxena ji, along with several other guests from across India.
The event celebrated inspiring women achievers from 17 states, each recognised for their strength, leadership, and contribution to nation-building.
Representing Assam, Jutikaa Mahanta was honoured for her continued efforts to bring the North East closer to the national spotlight through her work in media, culture, and community empowerment.

Jutikaa Mahanta, based in Mumbai, is a changemaker who uses her experience in media, marketing, and social work to bridge communities and inspire change. Deeply rooted in her Assamese heritage, she has dedicated her journey to connecting the North East with the rest of India through media advocacy, cultural exchange, and social impact initiatives.
Her work and influence have earned her multiple recognitions, including being named among the “51 Most Inspiring Women of India” by ICICI, and receiving the Mahatma Gandhi National Award, Lioness Gold Award for Woman of Strength, and the International Humanitarian Award, London.
As the Co-Founder of North East Unsung Heroes, Jutikaa has played a key role in celebrating changemakers from all eight North Eastern states at national platforms such as Raj Bhavan Mumbai and the Bombay Stock Exchange. Her journey reflects her belief that with purpose and passion, one individual can truly make a lasting difference.
