Dr. Prabhakar Rao Chavre Remembered on His Second Death Anniversary for His Contributions to Science and Humanity

New Delhi, October 9, 2026: The second death anniversary of eminent scientist and social worker Dr. Prabhakar Rao Govind Rao Chavre was observed with deep respect and heartfelt tributes by his son, Shri Balwant Kumar Chavre. Several distinguished guests and well-wishers remembered his life, i
deals and contributions to society.
Born on August 15, 1938, in Achalpur, Maharashtra, Dr. Chavre had a keen interest in science and spirituality from an early age. He also conducted research on the Ramayana, exploring the relationship between scientific thought and spirituality.
Scientific Research and a Vision for Humanity
In his book Science for Genetic Engineering, Dr. Chavre presented his E-7 Auto Genetic Theory of Evolution for Genome, reflecting his interest in genetics and human evolution.
Beyond scientific research, he dedicated his life to the welfare of underprivileged communities. On April 14, 1991, he established the Technical Professional Education in India Foundation to promote education, skill development and self-reliance among disadvantaged children, women and other needy sections of society.
Following his demise on October 9, 2024, at the age of 87, his son, Balwant Kumar Chavre, continued the foundation’s educational and social welfare initiatives, carrying forward his father’s vision.
Dr. Chavre’s supporters continue to advocate wider recognition of his contributions. They have also proposed observing August 10 as World Human Day in his honour.
His second death anniversary served as an occasion to remember his dedication to science, education, spirituality and social service. His life continues to inspire the belief that knowledge achieves its true purpose when it serves humanity and contributes to the welfare of society.
