New Delhi: The much-talked-about comedy play “Saiyaan Beimaan” was successfully staged at the prestigious LTG Auditorium, Mandi House, in New Delhi. Presented by Uniscope Films & Studios, the show was houseful, with the auditorium echoing with continuous applause and laughter throughout the performance. The play was produced by Baldev Kashyap and directed by Praveen Kashyap. It is based on a story by renowned Bengali writer Manoj Mitra, adapted and presented in Hindi for the stage.
The storyline revolves around the relationships, conflicts, and emotional dynamics between two families living in the same house. Blending humor with emotional depth, the play kept the audience engaged and entertained.
The cast delivered impressive performances, bringing life to their respective characters. The main performers included: Azad Singh as Budha, Sweety Gupta as Budhi, Puneet Kashyap as Shyamal, Mansi Agarwal Kashyap as Bakul, Keshav Kukreja as Arup,
Kuldeep as Dr. Jitin, Yashika Agarwal as Dolan, Aman Chopra as Kanhai, Poonam Bagdi as Shabnam Didi, Deepak as Manager, Vayu as Bada Munna, Parth Rana as Chhota Munna, Purav Kapoor as Tatai, and Mahavir Negi as the Waiter.
The play received widespread appreciation from both the audience and critics.
According to producer Baldev Kashyap, more shows of the play will be held soon, and there are also plans to adapt the story into a film in the future.
